Inner gilt dentalles. All edges gilt. Original marbled endpapers. Contemporary light blue bookseller's label on paste-down endpaper for 'WILLAN & WOOD, Stationers, &c. LIVERPOOL'. Cancelled ink stamp for 'WALSINGHAM COLLEGE LIBRARY' on blank preliminary page. The old College Library was refurbished in 2013. Pages uniformly age-toned; slight foxing.  150 x 95 mm. Contemporary full straight-grained burgundy morocco. spine with seven gilt horizontal rules and titlig; covers with single gilt fillet borders. Upper hinge weakened but still holding. Edges and hinges rubbed .
