Two blue silk sewn in bookmarks. Architectural design endpapers. Inner hinge split. With small neat ink stamp on front free endpaper and embossed circular stamp on title page of Pembroke Duttson. Pembroke Duttson (1923 93) was a very busy and successful film and television Production Designer & Director with extensive credits from 1958-80. 25 x 17 cm. Blue cloth cover with bright gilt Grecian design & lettering to front and bright gilt tree design and lettering to spine. In near fine condition. Complete with very uncommon, original, orange, photographic and printed dustwrapper. Reinforced with brown paper tape inside. slightly chipped at spine and along hinges. In view of the magnificent cloth binding, it is surprising to see this book still in its less decorative dustwrapper-but all the more desirable to have it remain complete & intact.
