[105 unnumbered pages] in blue type with green vignette illustrations on yellow glossy paper. Ten plates - two in full colour and the rest printed in purple by M.R. Sen at the Calcutta Prototype Company, 6, Chowringhee, Calcutta. Illustrations and decorations by Chunilal Adhikary. With rubber stamp on title page of distributors 'Universal Book Company, Allahabad'. Minuscule marginal damage at head of Quatrain 1. All edges yellow. Green and purple illustrated endpapers. 110 x 70 mm. Original dark maroon and black flexible rexine - faux morocco. Gilt titling on upper cover. Slight wear to head and tail of spine, and to corners. Unrecorded and attractive edition of the Rubaiyat, probably published in small numbers, mostly to have perished with the climate and insects of the Indian sub-continent. Not in WorldCat.
