The 1895 New Testament is renowned as one of the smallest complete New Testaments ever produced. It is a masterpiece of Victorian miniature printing, and possibly the first Bryce publication utilising "the very thinnest Oxford India paper ever made" to fit the entire text into a tiny volume. Printed in collaboration with Henry Frowde of the Oxford University Press who supplied the India paper to Bryce, it features remarkably legible text despite its size. The 1895 edition is highly collectible, and, along with other works by Bryce, highlights the technical achievements in miniature book production during the late 19th century. This is a unique association copy once owned by the publisher, David Bryce, and lovingly handed down through many generations until sold privately in October 2025.
