Extensive gilt art nouveau ornament and title on spines and again in decorative rectangular format on front cover of cach. Full RED kid leather on all. Top edges gilt. Black/dark blue endpapers generally. Frontispiece illustrations in all. Bindings tight. India paper leaves are bright and un-foxed. Very good condition, some are very good indeed. Each is 2 inches (5 cm) high 1.5 inches (3cm) wide. The majority have the original dustjackets which is most unusual, 9 have lost their dustjackets. One appears darker than the others and is likely a replacement. Printed at Glasgow University Press.) Books come in a unique finely and intricately hand-carved custom made Art Nouveau wooden bookcase, which has carved decorations of leaves and flowers on the gates, and scrolls top and bottom. NB. some slight damage to the top
'pediment". Neat pencil inscription on the rear of case dated 1915. This is now an extremely rare item issued by Bryce and very difficult to obtain.
