The principals of the Academy, Ralph and his daughter, Marjorie, lived at 2, Bouverie Road N16 that overlooks Abney Park Cemetry. In the year that Bakelite, Colour photography and piloted helicopters were all first invented, and seven years before World War One, this miniature dance manual must have seemed rather traditional but a slice of harmless fun.
