Diamond 48mo. [4], 396, [4] pages.Thinnest 'India' paper. With fully hallmarked silver repoussé upper cover plaque, depicting five cherubs. Assayed in London in 1905. The maker was celebrated and fashionable silversmith William Comyns. Rounded corners. All edges gilt. Inner gilt dentelles. Blue silk place-keeper. Contemporary inscription on blank preliminary leaf, follwed by two later  ink ownerships dated 1946, and 1956. 62 x 96 mm. Contemporary full chocolate morocco. 'Prayer' in gilt on spine. Very slightly rubbed at head of spine and one corner. OCLC, 1063517434. WorldCat locates three copies of this edition worldwide (British Library, University of Victoria, and Auckland Libraries). The cover features cherubs inspired by Sir Joshua Reynolds' 18th-century painting "A Child's Portrait in Different Views," a design that became immensely popular in late-Victorian art and decorative arts.
