Duty stamp; including saints days, calendar, table of Kings and Queens, Lord mayors & sheriffs, holidays and current coins. Complete with original matching slipcase venetian mosaic red morocco, gilt, with cream & black inlays. First produced in 1749 -that first edition survivng in a unique copy at the British Library, London Almanac continued annually until 1889. Vauxhall Bidge had been built in 1809-16 and the Millbank penetentiary had opened in 1816.A similar edition is in the Queen Mary's Dolls' House in Windsor Castle. Spielmann, 328. Welsh, 4620.
