Presents beautifully in new facsimile cream dust jacket printed in black & in protective clear cover. Night and Day is a novel by Virginia Woolf first published on 20 October 1919, London, Duckworth. Set in Edwardian London, Night and Day contrasts the daily lives and romantic attachments of two acquaintances, Katharine Hilbery and Mary Datchet. The novel examines the relationships between love, marriage, happiness, and success. 2,000 copies were printed of which just 1,767 copies were sold for 9 shillings each. The publishing rights were sold to the Hogarth Press in February 1929 who issued the remaining copies with a cancel-title and hyacinth-blue boards.
