Undated but circa 1807. 254, [2] printed pages. 14 engraved plates (lacking one cut, numbered to face page 71, some page toning and a few creases to corner tips). Contemporary ink owner's signature on front free endpaper. 34 x 50 mm. Contemporary red straight-grained morocco (slightly rubbed and corners very slightly bumped). Spine with gilt titling and six gilt horizontal single fillet rules. Boards with double fillet ruled borders in blind. Printer: Darton & Harvey, Gracechurch-Street, London. 8-point typeface. Provenance: Emma Freeman (no further information). Very similar to the more common miniature Newberry Bible, except the illustrations were re-engraved and are much less crude & significantly better designed than the Newberry ones; also, the preface states "It is not a very peasant reflection" (instead of "It is a melancholy reflection").
