Original yapp edged dark purple suede (very slightly rubbed). Title in gilt on upper cover. Provenance: M.H.Mudie. Mudie, treasurer of Our Boys Institute, worked among the Parsees in India, claimed that Bombay, although it had millions of inhabitants, had fewer than 2,000 Christians. Mudie then addressed the women in the 1906 Keswick Christian evangelist convention audience, "If some of you dear sisters could join our devoted Zenana workers, what a blessing it would be to many among the 150 millions of women in India."
