Fancy dress costumes include farmer's daughter, nobleman and noblewoman, maid, pigeon-fancier, sailor, dancer, and fisherman. Original glossy white ribbed endpapers. No inscriptions. Endpapers with dark patina. 32 x 48 mm. Original embossed red cloth binding with brass catch at side. Covers with plant motif gilt borders. Upper cover with central gilt embossed 'Album'. A wonderfully preserved curiosity, intended for the children of considerably wealthy parents in the Victorian era.
