One full-page woodblock illustration, signed by Deberny (the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem printers sourced their ornate decorative borders, woodcuts, and typographic vignettes from a Deberny catalogue). Printed by Tparan Srbots Hakobeants - the monastery housed that the printing press and the Armenian Apostolic Church's Jerusalem Patriarchate, which was established as a diocese in the 7th century. The year 1323 is written in Armenian alphabetical numerals: ՌՅԻԳ (R-Y-I-G). Includes not just dates, and horoscopes, but also predictions of the weather (Գուշակութիւնք Օդոց), a common feature of traditional almanacs of that era. Prepared under the authority of Patriarch Esayi (Isaiah) of Jerusalem and during the patriarchate of Mkrtich (Khrimian Hayrik) in Constantinople, a famous figure in Armenian history known for his advocacy for Armenian rights. 64 x 102 mm. Original printed taupe wrappers; spine with blocked titling; front cover with blocked titling, and floral woodblock vignette within decorative borders; back cover with grid of one to nine times table within single black border and decorative corner-pieces. Covers chipped and nibbled at corners and edges, not affecting the text. Front wrapper split at the lower hinge, but still attached securely.
