Printed in red and blue. With hallmarked silver slipcase openworked rectangular with putti amidst scroll foliage, set with a chained but associated propelling leaded pencil marked 'STERLING', and two further chains meeting on a suspension ring, apparently no maker's mark, 1888, assayed in London.  Silver case, 26 x 79 x 9 mm. Some pages with contemporary ink entries. All edges gilt. Contemporary pencil signature on front paste-down. 23 x 76 mm. Original red  morocco with uniform gilt titling on front and back covers. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Not inWelsh. WorldCat locates no copies of this edition worldwide.
