In 1976, with his wife Angela, he established Britain's first residential photography workshop, The Photographer's Place. In 1996, he set up one of the UK's first MAs in Photography. Hill has exhibited internationally and co-authored numerous books. PROVENANCE: Caroline Penn worked as an editorial photographer for many years and then as a picture researcher, before becoming a book artist.
