Extremely mild handling with spine extremely mildly age-toned: a very bright copy. Beautifully preserved in the original black paper covered slipcase with very good condition printed paper label. Edward McKnight Kauffer (1890-1954) rose to fame as a poster designer for London Transport & Shell. 'The technical skill of its reproduction is beyond praise, look at the opening text page; a perfect collaboration between Kauffer and Simon' (Desmond Flower).
