The undated edition is only recorded from an odd first volume in Darton). Original primprose endpapers. Contemporary ink ownership inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1839. Provenance: Jessie Luggate, Beccles. Some foxing throughout. particularly on and facing the illustrations. 62 x 70 mm. Original full embossed, vertically ribbed cloth; covers with blind-stamped rococco-style centre-piece with matching corner-pieces; spines with twin panelledgilt decorated floral and circle designs around central horizontally positioned 'ENGLAND', also in gilt.
