96 pages and 48 engraved copper-plates in each volume. No date on title-pages, a reissue of a previous edition (there were dated editions in 1809, 1811, 1815, 1824, and 1825. The undated edition is only recorded from an odd first volume in Darton). Original primprose endpapers. Contemporary ink ownership inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1839. Provenance: Jessie Luggate, Beccles.  Some foxing throughout. particularly on and facing the illustrations. 62 x 70 mm. Original full embossed, vertically ribbed cloth; covers with blind-stamped rococco-style centre-piece with matching corner-pieces; spines with twin panelledgilt decorated floral and circle designs around central horizontally positioned  'ENGLAND', also in gilt.
