Polychrome cardboard and paper with 12 spindles, brown turned wooden base. Globe signed: "JL & Cie, Paris", famous Brussels publishing house in the 19th century which opened a branch in Paris, at 30 rue de Lille, under the name of Jules Lebègue et associés éditeurs. For the publication of Globes terrestres, they worked closely with the geographer R. Barbot. Some small sections slightly damaged. Height: 14 cm; Globe diameter: 6 cm; Base diameter: 5 cm.
