Around 1900. Three individually bound books for household notes.  About 60 pages to each volume.  Laid paper. Yellow endpapers, slipcase lining and all edges gilt. 50 x 60 mm.  Address book - used sparsely in a contemporary ink and pencil hand- with tiny alphabetised index down the fore-edge in red and black. Bound in royal blue morocco, spine with title in gilt within six horizontal ruled fillet borders, covers with double fillet borders and palmette corner-pieces- the upper cover in gilt, lower cover in blind.  Memo book -unused- with each page ruled , 12 lines, in grey. Bound in crimson morocco, spine with title in gilt within six horizontal ruled fillet borders, covers with double fillet borders and palmette corner-pieces- the upper cover in gilt, lower cover in blind.  Cash book -unused- with columns and 12 lines in grey. Bound in sherwood green morocco, spine with title in gilt within six horizontal ruled fillet borders, covers with double fillet borders and palmette corner-pieces- the upper cover in gilt, lower cover in blind. Complete with original matching slipcase, titled "My Books", with single gilt fillet border to the front and to the rear (very slight rubbing). Charming miniature set of books in very good condition.
