Back cover printed 'Entered at Stationer's Hall' within classicaly decorated circular cartouche and zigzag borders. Covers lightly handled with mild patination. Almanac - each month on two facing pages - with significant historical events for every day of the year; additional pages under the headings 'Royal Family', 'Gen. Post Office', 'Fixed & Moveable Festivals, 1869' on two pages, 'Eclipses, 1869' and 'Qr. & Half Qr. Days' on one page, and 'Stamps' on the final page. Not in Bondy, nor Spielmann, nor Welsh.
