Decorative title & half-title page printed in green and black. Top edges gilt, others untrimmed. Marbled endpapers. No date but possibly 1920 edition. One bottom margin with short closed tear not affecting the image. Neat ownership inscription to front free endpaper. 15 x 23 cm. Full, rose-coloured Pogany designed binding. Decorative gilt and green embossed designs to spine (very slightly rubbed at head and tail and slightly faded). Front board with two gilt and green embossed Moresque designs and gilt Arabic stylised lettering within blind stamped scrolling strapwork borders (corners and edges very slightly rubbed, very slight fading to upper end). An attractive edition of the Fitzgerald translation of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, beautifully illustrated and with a charming Moresque stylised binding.
