[Berlin]. 1904. 1st edition. 424 printed pages in German, in two columns, plus 2 unnumbered pages of publisher's adverts at the end. Produced by photographic reproduction, on very thin paper. Contemporary circular ink stamp on title page, later cancelled crudely with black pen, leaving only the word 'Wien' in the middle. Rounded corners. Original tin case, with built in magnifier and  "Daniel Sanders. Moment Lexicon" in gilt on hinged front lid and art deco design on lower section. Loop on top of tin missing.  Rubbing along the edges and corners, affecting the decoration and titling. 36 x 52 mm. (book); 41 x 59 mm. (tin). Original red cloth; front cover with gilt titling. Some wear to head and tail of spine. Like the Daniel Sanders' 1896 Conversations-Lexicon, that is also rare and was also published by Hugo Steinitz in miniature format, this is, incredibly, a miniature encyclopedia. It alphabetically lists people, places and things of world-wide significance and very briefly gives details and dates.  Not in Bondy (but see page 101-2 for the Conversations-Lexicon).
