This is an internal security booklet produced by the Ministry of Food in 1943 and signed (in facsimile?)by the Secretary to the Minister for Food H.L. French. It gives a list of rules and regulations by which to prevent dissemination of information from the ministry to enemy agents. It is marked CONFIDENTIAL on the cover. 'FOR RETENTION' is also written on the cover, in an unknown hand. From the library of Sir G.S. Bishop, youngest ever Deputy Secretary who was at the Ministry of Food 1945-9. This ephemeral document is very scarce. The book is currently on display at Burley Fisher Books in London.
