The Dainty Little Library saw Bryce re-packaging around thirteen or so classics from the Golden Thoughts and Tartan Series, with art-nouveau re-designed title pages and bindings by Jessie Marion King (1875-1949), a Scottish female children’s book illustrator of high esteem. Volumes 1-5 were Lord Tennyson’s works. 6 and 7 were by Walter Scott. 8 and 9 were Robert Burns title. 10 to 12 were by Wordsworth, Thomas Moore, and Macaulay respectively.
