Octavo, viii,51 pages, 12 superb wood engraving plates. Blue paper covered boards with vellum paper spine, a bit marked and very slightly worn externally, very good internally. With ownership inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1943.

Provenance: in 2020, this copy was acquired from the direct descendants of Tony Hoolahan Q.C., a prominent libel lawyer who successfully prosecuted Private Eye, (represented by John Mortimer of Rumpole fame) on behalf of Desmond Wilcox (married to Esther Rantzen of "That's Life" fame) in 1982. This book dates to his undergraduate years at Oxford University.
