xi, 180 printed pages. Frontispiece and profusely illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard. Decoratively illustrated endpapers (very slight offsetting). Top edges gilt. 13.5 x 19.5 cm. Original salmon cloth. Spine with gilt lettering (very slightly faded and a miniscule amount of shelf-wear to the top and bottom). Upper cover with gilt embossed image of Pooh, Piglet and Christopher Robin in raingear (a few spots of very slight fading towards the outer top corner). Complete with original decorative dust jacket. Spine with 5mm loss at head, slightly sunned. Upper and rear covers and back flap with historic 6mm stains down from top edge and another historic stain near the back top hinge. A little minor creasing to the top of the front flap and a very short tear at the top of that hinge. Presents exremely well and in unrepaired, and exceptional condition. The fourth and final Pooh book (but the one which introduces Tigger). "So they all went off together.
