Spine missing & boards disjointed. Peter Nicholson (1765-1844) was a Scottish architect, surveyor, practical builder and founder of a school of mathematics. Nicholson was one of the principal intellects at the forefront of nineteenth century British building technology, simplifying or devising new mathematical formulae for draughtsmen at the time. This item is sold as a collection of engravings, dated 1822-4, including plans, elevations, projections, perspective, and architectural design.
