iv, 126 printed pages. Preface by "The Compiler". Lacks rear free endpaper, some page corner-tips creased or ocassionally nibbled. Leaves mildly and unevenly toned at edges. 65 x 52 mm. Contemporary burgundy morocco. Spine with gilt emblems and three bands of double fillet gilt ruling. Charming old repair on front hinge with fine leather stitches quite visible. Boards with single gilt fillet borders (very slight bowing and gently rubbed). Unrecorded title. Not in Bondy, not in Spielmann nor Welsh. No copies in WorldCat. Bondy does mention J.Haddon (page 129) as publishing a later (1830) edition of the well received religious title, The Dairyman's Daughter (Christie's Bible Warehouse, London, 1826). Haddon also printed a satirical broadsheet concerning the political situation in Greenwich, in the early 1830s. It is quite uncommon to identify a bona fide pre-Victorian (William iv) miniature book unseen by the previous experts and collectors. Seller Inventory # 5206
