Each part with map and 32 unnumbered leaves : illustrations ; 14 x 22 cm. original colour printed card covers, stab sewn (a few sligns of edge wear and some creasing). The first photograph in New Zealand was taken in 1848; by the time of these publications, NZ had its 16th Parliament and had produced its first documentary film about the Boer War five years previously. Horace J. Weeks established his printing company in 1886 and expanded dramatically, specialising in fine art designing and printing, particularly in the process, half-tone and three-colour work. 978282065, 829680922.
